All applicants must attend the meeting on Friday, September 7th at 11:30 am in Pangea. All of those who apply will receive an interview time.

Do You Need Volunteer Hours?

Bateman has a new vegetable garden next to our school. Volunteers are needed over the summer to help water, weed, and perform light yard work for the garden.
If you can volunteer for an hour or two at a time, please see Mr. Templeton in the Tech Office to sign up for this opportunity. This will be a great way to complete your 40 hours of community service!

Europe 2019:

For all students interested in attending the Europe Trip in April of 2019, there will be a parent information evening on June 12th at 6 pm in the school cafeteria. Please plan on attending the meeting or see Mme. Roberto for further details.

Grade 12 & IB Art Show:

On Thursday June 14th, Grade 12 and IB Art students will be displaying their artwork at Showcase 18. The art show will take place from 7-9 pm in the cafeteria and free refreshments will be provided. We hope to see you there!

Wednesday Wellness:

It's Wednesday Wellness and here are a couple of tips for your Mental Health. 

Tip 1: Work your strengths. Do something you're good at to build self-confidence, then tackle a tougher task. 

Tip 2: Take time to laugh. Laughter helps reduce anxiety. Try these tips today and have a great Mental Health day.

Youth Mental Health Month - Wednesday Wellness:

The birds are singing and the flowers are blooming. Why not take half an hour for a wellness walk today? Mental Wellness is the special focus this month. Today at 11 come down to the foyer for a community walk -- because taking a walk in nature could be the best thing you do for your mood all day.

On Friday May 18th, we are silent to represent those that do not have a voice, will you join us?
Did you know that 30 million children under the age of five live in areas of armed conflict? Help us to give them a voice. 

To join the campaign, sign ups are taking place in the upstairs foyer from Monday to Thursday!

Kindness Day:

Hey Bateman! Do you love your friends? Do you appreciate them? Well, how often do you tell them? Tuesday, May 22nd and Wednesday, May 23rd, come down to the front foyer period 3 to take part in Youth in Action’s annual kindness day. With a donation of any size, you can pick a customizable card and write a kind message that will be delivered to a person of your choosing on Thursday, May 24. All proceeds will go to charity. See you there and remember to be kind!
