Bateman has a new vegetable garden next to our school.  Volunteers are needed over the summer to help water, weed, and perform light yard work for the garden.
If you can volunteer for an hour or two at a time, please see Mr. Templeton in the Tech Office to sign up for this opportunity.  This will be a great way to complete your 40 hours of community service!

Attention Graduating Students

posted Apr 20, 2018, 6:03 AM by Dezerai McCormick   [ updated Mar 4, 2019, 9:36 AM by Petra Roeding ]

The time has come for you to purchase your cap and gown for Graduation Day on Thursday, June 27, 2019.
If you are graduating or have graduated and intend to participate in the June’s Commencement exercises, you must purchase a cap and gown and make your payment before Friday, April 26, 2019.

Here’s how it works:
The fee of $25.00 is on School Cash Online https://www.schoolcashonline.com/.  If you are paying by cash or cheque (made payable to Robert Bateman High School), please come into the office.  You will also need to know your approximate height for the gown order.
A gown sized for your height, plus a cap & tassel will be shipped to the school.  Everything will be ordered to match our school colours.  Your name will be attached to the plastic wrap protecting the gown and cap.
On the evening of the graduation you will pick up your cap/tassel and gown/v-stole in the Library.  You will wear these items during the ceremony.  You get to keep the cap/tassel/gown and take it home with your hard-earned diploma!  The inside of the cap is constructed so you can, if you wish, record the messages and signatures of your friends.  Every person participating in the ceremony, including the Robert Bateman High School stage party must wear a cap and gown.  There will be more information sent home at the beginning of May.  If you have any questions, please contact the school office.

Congratulations to all Graduates!!
